A BIOGRAPHY
My work, rooted in archival printmaking and shaped by my apprenticeship with Warhol-era artists Christopher Makos and Richard Bernstein, merges artistry with commercial appeal. Over time, I’ve refined what I call the Blurgeois style—blending realism with cinematic grace and raw elegance. Through moody atmospheres, lo-fi charm, and simplicity, I aim to bring warmth and humanity to both commercial and personal imagery.
I’ve collaborated with major brands, exhibited across North America and Europe, and earned industry recognition, including a Clio Award. Yet, I’ve never pursued visibility for its own sake. In an era where self-promotion often overshadows the work, I prefer to let the images speak. Photography continues to evolve, but craftsmanship remains essential. The best work isn’t the loudest—it’s what endures.
As a creative director, I shape visual narratives, aligning production and storytelling to create impactful content. As Editorial Director, I led industry trade magazines for Whistler Blackcomb and Know?Mag, Canada’s leading streetwear publication. Whether writing, producing, directing, or shooting, my approach is always deliberate—shaping narratives that resonate.
From large campaigns to quiet, everyday moments, I tell visual stories that feel honest and lasting. Beyond the camera, I’m often at truck stops somewhere between Venice, California, and Venice, Italy—always searching for the next story to tell.
