André Paul Pinces

André Pinces’ work, rooted in archival printmaking and honed in New York City's fast-paced fashion scene, has evolved to master the art of the visual narrative. His experience has made him a sought-after collaborator, known for combining pure realism with cinematic grace. Influenced by his time with Warhol-era artists Christopher Makos and Richard Bernstein, Pinces has developed a unique 'Blurgeois' style that blends a moody atmosphere with elements of unpolished refinement. The work, characterized by lo-fi charm and simplicity, offers a novel approach to pictorial storytelling, adding warmth and humanity to both commercial projects and everyday life imagery. This approach has earned awards and led to exhibitions across North America and Europe. Pinces is known for his ability to merge art with commercial appeal seamlessly, connecting clients and audiences with elegant authenticity. Beyond the camera, André travels for adventure and can be found at various truck stops between Venice, California and Venice, Italy.
